Sunsetters Retirement Program

The Sunsetters Retirement Program is the newest program of the KCARC.  Designed for our senior residents at Beta Homes and the Independent Living Program (ILP), current participants are involved on both a full and part-time basis. This program offers a variety of community activities including bowling, arthritis exercise classes at a local senior center, bluegrass concerts on Market Square, walking groups, going to plays, taking in a movie, shopping and eating out for lunch.  The program also offers a variety of activities in an off-site retirement apartment.  Activities here might include memory games, art therapy, yard games, simple meal preparation, and strength building.  This program has been an excellent addition to the KCARC and we look forward to watching it grow.
